Fresh as a Daisy Dog Parlour
Terms and conditions June 2026
Please read the following prior to your appointment.
Wellness
It is expected that your dog is fit and well when attending the grooming salon as well as having been toileted. It is important to make sure your dog has had the opportunity to do this prior to their appointment as some grooming sessions can be up to 3 hours.
Parasites
Bringing your dog to the grooming salon with fleas is not fair on other customers and brings a risk of infection to the premises and other dogs. Despite cleaning measures used between customers flea infestations require a much more intense cleaning procedure to eradicate.
Please check your dog doesn't have fleas before their appointment. If fleas are discovered during the course of any groom you will be advised accordingly and an additional charge will be incurred for extra cleaning procedures required.
Matted dogs
Any dogs that are matted will need to be shaved off (please check out my coat care sheet/de-matting policy below) and will require an additional £10 charge (this only applies to matted dog clip offs)

Drop off/Collection
As a one-to-one groomer, when your dog has an appointment with me, my time during that appointment is focused on your dog and your dog alone. I value that you chose my private one-to-one services and endeavour to maintain that level of service.
Lateness- dropping off your dog will unfortunately eat into your private appointment time and I can’t always groom your dog fully within the time I have remaining, I may have other clients and commitments after your appointment. If you arrive late there is the possibility I will only have time for a partial groom, such as a bath and brush.
We can discuss this on the day and it will be completely dependent on the individual dog, its requirements and the circumstances on the day, with regard to the service I can provide in the time remaining.
If this is possible you will still be charged FULL GROOM price as that is the time slot originally booked and still taken.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel the appointment as I don’t want to pass this delay on to my other clients. I hope you understand, and would expect the same, if you were the next client unfairly affected by the delay.
In this instance you will be charged my late cancellation fee which is 75% of full groom price, in order to protect my business from the negative financial impact that unnecessary empty appointment slots have. This fee must be paid before you can rebook.
Collecting Your Dog
Please collect your dog at the agreed time, all of my clients deserve the private one-to-one service I offer.
Dogs still present from the previous appointment can be distressing to other dogs meaning I can’t start the next dog’s groom, or in some cases can be dangerous as not all dogs are social.
I will contact you if you are 10 minutes late, if no answer, I will ring your emergency contact.
If you are more than 15 minutes late collecting your dog you will be charged as follows in addition to your Full Groom Price..
0-15 mins – Free but please don’t.
15-30 mins = A late fee of £10 will apply.
30 mins + = A late fee of £20 will apply
In all cases of lateness please just contact me so I know what is going on so we can discuss our options.
Social Media
Please let me know if you do not give permission for your dog's photo to be used in my social media channels otherwise I will assume this is ok.
Payment and deposits
I can accept card transactions using Sum up card reader/lopay or cash payments.
Deposits
All bookings will require a £15 deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits will be kept if you fail to attend.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation and I hope to see you and your dog very soon!
Kitty
