Hello, I'm Kitty and I love animals,especially dogs! I have always had a passion for dogs and finally took the plunge to set up my own dog grooming business last year which has led to the recent addition of home dog boarding/daycare services after requests from numerous customers.  This was a natural progression of the business and allows me to indulge in my passion for dogs even more ....whats better than spending all day with dogs?!

I have experience of grooming over 100 dogs of all sorts of shapes and sizes too,It is great to see the transformation after a groom.

 I have owned various dog breeds over the last 20 years all of which were rescue dogs including a springer spaniel, border collie and greyhound.

Previously I have had voluntary dog walking roles at various animal rescue centres as well as having had work experience in a vets. 

I currently have a 12 year old rescue cat but would love to have more rescue dogs and cats in the future. 

My aim is make dogs not only look good but feel good too and to ensure that all dogs visiting Fresh as a Daisy Dog Parlour & Retreat- whether thats for grooming or daycare/home boarding- have an enjoyable and positive experience. Dogs will be looked after as if they were my own and given lots of care and attention. 

I will always follow the principal value  'humanity over vanity' when it comes to grooming. At times this can mean the finished look is slighlty compromised, as if your dog is adverse to standing still or is elderly/has mobility issues and needs to sit down often or just likes dancing on their toes then using a pair of super sharp scissors can be more much tricky! Not only is this a health and safety risk for your dog but also the groomer. As with every dog I will always strive to get the best finish possible without any uneccessary stress to your dog.
